Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated ADT Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining automated detection systems, ensuring safety and efficiency across various projects. Responsibilities
- Operate ADT (Automated Detection Technology) systems accurately and efficiently in accordance with project requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Assist with the setup, calibration, and maintenance of detection systems as needed.
- Monitor system performance during operations, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of system operation, maintenance activities, and any incidents or irregularities.
- Support other operational tasks related to heavy machinery, including the operation of excavators when required.
- Drive commercial vehicles safely within designated areas, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in operating heavy machinery such as excavators is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or operating specialised equipment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with automated detection systems or related technology is a plus but not essential; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in industrial environments, adhering strictly to health and safety standards.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
