We are seeking an experienced and dynamic hands-on Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. Duties
- Supervise and train bar staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards of hospitality.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling waste to optimise profitability.
- Develop innovative drink menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and conducting regular evaluations to foster professional development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
