Join our Classroom Kitchen team and help inspire children through fun, interactive cooking and nutrition workshops across the Wigan area.
We're looking for passionate individuals to deliver exciting holiday activities for children aged 5–14 years, helping them develop practical cooking skills, learn about healthy eating, and most importantly, have fun.
About the Role
As a Holiday Activity Leader, you will lead hands-on cooking and nutrition sessions as part of our Classroom Kitchen holiday programme, working alongside one of our community partners. You do not need any previous cookery teaching experience – full training and resources will be provided.

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging cooking and nutrition workshops to children aged 5–14
- Creating a fun, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging participation, confidence and healthy lifestyle choices
- Representing Classroom Kitchen professionally at community venues and events
- Supporting children to develop practical life skills through cooking

- A confident and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A positive, energetic and reliable approach
- A passion for education and helping young people learn
- An interest in food, cooking and healthy lifestyles (desirable but not essential)
