Overview
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy manufacturing workshop in Bolton. This hands-on role involves a mix of cleaning, order picking/packing, and basic materials handling. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys varied work and being part of a collaborative team.
This role offers an engaging work environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while developing their professional skills.
Hours of works: 7.00am - 4.30pm (Mon-Fri)
Contracted Hours: 45hrs per week
Job Responsibilities
· Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties across the warehouse, including use of
a pedestrian-controlled sweeper.
· Accurately pick and pack customer orders for dispatch.
· Build pallets and crates to ensure protection of fragile materials in transit.
· Operate a heat shrink-wrap system effectively
· Band metal coils as required.
· Check, sort, and store incoming palletised goods when necessary.
· Comply with all health and safety procedures and take responsibility for personal and
team safety.
· Maintain high standards of quality in all work.
· Participate in company-provided training, including any certified programs.
· Undertake additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
· Experience with commercial cleaning in a warehouse setting
· Competency in using hand-powered tools and saws
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Flexible and proactive approach to workload
· Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
