KITCHEN PORTER / KITCHEN ASSISTANT – Café Bar 1780, PRINCE’S SQUARE, GLASGOW
Café Bar 1780 is in the heart of Glasgow’s stylish Prince’s Square. Serving an all-day menu with breakfast, brunch, light lunches, and evening dining, alongside regular live music and events, 1780 is set to be one of the city’s new go-to spots where food and atmosphere come together.
We’re now looking for part-time Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at weekends.
THE ROLE
As a Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant at Café Bar 1780, you’ll be essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly. From washing dishes to helping with basic prep, you’ll make sure the chefs are supported and the kitchen is clean, safe, and ready for service.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Keeping on top of dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Assisting with basic food prep where required
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting the kitchen team with a positive, can-do attitude
