We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roughing and Finishing Joiners to join our construction team. The successful candidates will be responsible for Wetwall Walling installation, Timber Framing Works, Pipe-boxing works, Drylining Works, MF ceiling Works, Installation of doors, Timber facing and Skirtings and door Ironmongery. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your carpentry expertise within a dynamic construction setting, contributing to diverse projects including roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical installations. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in joinery, with experience using hand tools and power tools, and the physical capability for heavy lifting and manual tasks.
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry or joinery roles within the construction industry
- Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders)
- Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry work, plumbing systems or electrical installations is advantageous
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely over extended periods
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in measuring and fitting components
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are desirable but not essential
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks throughout the working day
