immigrationely is a new, SRA-regulated immigration law firm based in Brentwood, Essex, specialising in detained, asylum and bail work. We're a modern, tech-driven practice growing quickly, and we're looking for a reliable, sharp right-hand person to grow with us.
The role
Working closely with our principal solicitor, you'll help run a busy and
varied caseload from first contact through to resolution. Day to day, you'll:
- Support clients across detained, asylum and bail matters — taking instructions and keeping them updated
- Draft applications, bundles and correspondence, and manage deadlines
- Liaise with clients, the Home Office, removal centres and the tribunal
- Help keep our case files and systems running smoothly in a modern, tech-driven office
What you'll need (essential)
- At least 2–3 years' experience in a legal, professional or client-facing role
- Genuinely good with technology — quick to learn new tools and systems
- A working understanding of UK immigration law
- Fluency in English plus a second language — Punjabi, Hindi, Albanian, Romanian, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic or Lithuanian especially welcome
- Reliable and organised, able to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Looking for a long-term, settled role, and within easy reach of Brentwood
Nice to have
- Previous experience in an immigration or legal practice
- Relevant immigration accreditation, or a willingness to work towards it
What we offer
- Salary £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience
