En Place Foods Ltd is a multi-award-winning, fast-growing speciality food business. We work with artisan producers and brand owners, supplying ingredients to foodservice and speciality retail customers. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our team to support dry ingredient packing, store operations and order dispatch at our new facility in Moira.
The role
This is a hands-on role focused on packing dry food ingredients and supporting stores and dispatch operations. Accuracy, attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential.
What you’ll be doing
Your mail responsibility will be packing dry food ingredients.
You will also assist the team with:
General kitchen and warehouse operations
Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
Labelling and packing finished products
Maintaining hygiene standards, cleaning and wash-up duties
Preparing orders and wrapping pallets for collection.
About you
Experience in a kitchen, catering or a food production environment.
Comfortable working with weights and measures, with good attention to detail.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.
Physically capable of manual handling and working on your feet.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
Reliable, organised, and conscientious in your work.
Flexible and able to work collaboratively with the rest of the team where needed.
The details
Part-time, permanent position.
16-24hrs hours per week.
Starting salary £13.15 per hr.
Pro-rata holiday entitlements, including our annual Christmas closure period.
Bank and public holidays off.
Daytime weekday working hours.
Some flexibility in working patterns may be available for the right candidates.
