The What...
Working closely with the People and Finance teams you will:
- Processing payrolls across the UK and Canada
- Calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, statutory payments, deductions and benefits
- Validating payroll data, including starters, leavers and changes
- Reconciling payroll reports and investigating discrepancies
- Ensuring compliance with UK (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP/SPP) and Canadian payroll legislation
- Managing right to work and eligibility documentation
- Supporting year-end processes (P60s, P11Ds, T4s, RL-1s)
To be successful, you'll have:
- Payroll experience (UK and/or international payroll experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident working with payroll systems, HRIS platforms and Excel
- Strong communicator with a professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field would be beneficial.
