Condition Monitoring Engineer
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Location: Stanlow Refinery, Cheshire
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
INFINITEK Group, a specialist engineering recruitment consultancy, is proud to partner with a leading global engineering organisation to recruit a Condition Monitoring Engineer to join their on-site team at Stanlow Refinery.
This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in vibration analysis and condition monitoring while working directly with a key customer to maintain and improve the reliability of critical rotating equipment. Full training and professional development support will be provided to help you grow in your role.
What you’ll do:
- Collect, analyse, and report on a wide range of vibration and condition monitoring data from rotating and reciprocating machinery.
- Capture and compile thermographic images of static equipment.
- Conduct routine condition monitoring surveys and utilise diagnostic techniques to identify root causes of machinery issues.
- Generate detailed reports with recommendations for corrective maintenance.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for the customer, managing relationships and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in a call-out rota to provide 24-hour site coverage and occasional planned shutdowns/turnarounds.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety at all times, including dynamic risk assessments and safe working practices.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified to ISO 18436-2 Vibration Analysis Category 2.
- Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of vibration monitoring, thermography, and rotating/reciprocating equipment.
- Proficiency with office and web-based software.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working at heights, outdoors, and in all weather conditions, with good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
