About the Role
We are recruiting 2 Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an ongoing general haulage contract based in Warwick.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:30 and 06:30
- No weekend work
Responsibilities
- Carry out general haulage deliveries and collections.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Deliver goods safely, securely and on time.
- Follow planned routes while complying with road traffic legislation and Drivers' Hours regulations.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a professional and courteous approach with customers and colleagues.
- Some manual handling may be required.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Commercial Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
