Matchday Cleaning Operatives
Location: Roots Hall Stadium, Southend-on-Sea
Pay: £14.50 per hour
We are recruiting operatives to join our Matchday Cleaning Team, working around Southend United FC's home fixture schedule throughout the football season.
Matchday Hygiene Operatives
- 3 positions available
- 4-hour shifts
- Working during Southend United FC home fixtures.
Duties include:
- Monitoring public toilet facilities throughout the match.
- Replenishing toilet rolls, soap and paper towels.
- Emptying bins.
- Cleaning spillages and sanitising high-touch surfaces.
- Ensuring facilities remain clean, safe and presentable for supporters.
Duties include:
- Thorough cleaning and sanitising of all public toilet facilities.
- Cleaning toilets, urinals, wash basins and fixtures.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Emptying and relining bins.
- Replenishing consumables.
- Ensuring all facilities are clean and ready for the next event.
Applicants should be reliable, hardworking and flexible, with availability to work weekends and mornings following home fixtures. Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You'll be responsible for maintaining the stadium's public toilet facilities throughout the match by replenishing consumables, emptying bins, sanitising touchpoints and ensuring facilities remain clean, safe and presentable for supporters.
Post-Match Toilet Cleaning Operatives
- 3 positions available
- 8-hour shifts
- Working on the morning after each home fixture.
This role involves carrying out a thorough clean of all public toilet facilities, including toilets, wash basins, floors, fixtures and fittings, replenishing consumables and preparing the stadium for its next use.
The same operatives are welcome to work both shifts, subject to availability.
