Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Labourer to join our team. This role involves a variety of physical tasks including cleaning, painting, driving and general site upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in maintenance work, with the ability to operate various tools and machinery. Duties
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Delivering and collecting materials from site
- Performing general construction tasks such as lifting, and moving materials
- Supporting team members in completing projects within specified timeframes
- Ensuring work areas, canteen and toilets are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and general maintenance practices is desirable
- Good organisational skills with attention to safety protocols
- A valid driving licence is desirable; willingness to learn is important
- Previous experience in this field will be considered an asset
- Fork Truck Licence essential
