Build a New Home Care Service. Step Up to Registered Manager. Make It Yours.
Are you a Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Supervisor or experienced Care Manager ready to take the next step in your career?
Do you want more than simply managing “business as usual”?
This is an opportunity to build a home care service from the ground up, shape the team and culture around you, and become a recognised and trusted leader within the North Tyneside care community.
If you’re ambitious, driven and ready to prove what you can do, this could be the opportunity that takes your career to the next level.
The Opportunity
Clarity Homecare North Tyneside is a recently launched home care service based in Whitley Bay, and we’re looking for an ambitious future leader to take it forward.
You won’t be walking into someone else’s service, inheriting someone else’s culture or being expected to fix years of problems.
You’ll have the opportunity to build it properly from the beginning.
And importantly, you won’t be doing it alone.
Our Directors are known and connected within the local community and will lead much of the business development, introductions and partnership-building needed to generate new opportunities.
That means that as well as supporting them with these activtities, you can focus on what you do best:
- Building an outstanding care service, developing a fantastic team and delivering exceptional care.
You’ll have real autonomy, a blank canvas and hands-on support from people who genuinely want you, and the service, to succeed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the day-to-day operation of a brand-new home care service
- Helping shape the culture, standards and way the service operates from day one
- Working closely with the Directors as they generate new business, referrals and community partnerships
- Recruiting, inspiring and developing your own high-performing care team
- Carrying out care assessments and creating high-quality, person-centred care plans
- Driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement
- Ensuring the service meets and exceeds CQC standards
- Becoming a visible and trusted point of contact for service users, families, professionals and community partners
- Taking part in on-call duties, safeguarding and supporting the service operationally when required
- Preparing for, and confidently leading, future CQC inspections
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with the potential and ambition to become an exceptional Registered Manager.
You’ll ideally be:
- A Care Coordinator, Team Leader, Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Care Manager ready for greater responsibility
- An ambitious and energetic leader who wants to build a service, not simply maintain one
- Experienced in a leadership role within social care for at least one year
- Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership
- Commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to help a service grow
- Warm, professional and confident when building relationships with people
- Willing to work towards, or already hold, a Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management
- A driver with access to your own vehicle
What You’ll Get
- £35,000 per annum
- Clear salary progression as the service grows
- Bonus opportunities
- Potential future share options
- Genuine flexibility and autonomy
- The opportunity to build and lead your own team
- Full training, mentoring and development
- Hands-on support as you progress into the Registered Manager role
- A highly supportive leadership team who are visible, accessible and invested in your success
- The opportunity to become a recognised figure within the North Tyneside care community
Most importantly, the chance to look back and say:
“I helped build this.”
Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t about stepping into an established service and keeping things ticking over.
It’s about creating something.
You’ll be joining at the beginning, working with the Directors to open doors and create opportunities, and the have the freedom to build a team and culture that reflects the kind of care service you believe should exist.
As the service grows, your career can grow with it.
If you’ve been waiting for someone to give you the opportunity to step up, take ownership and show what you’re capable of, this could be it.
