The energy transition demands experienced project leaders who can navigate complexity, manage commercial risk, and build lasting customer relationships. As a Marine Project Manager within GE Vernova's Power Conversion business, you will take ownership of high-stakes programmes in the marine and naval sector — ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of some of the most demanding customers in the industry.
This is a customer-facing role at the heart of a multi-disciplinary delivery team. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, the driver of project performance, and the person who brings clarity when challenges arise.
- Serve as the primary customer contact across your marine programmes, building trusted relationships that support satisfaction, retention, and future business.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams — aligning internal functions and external suppliers to deliver against contractual commitments on time and within budget.
- Manage the commercial, technical, and quality dimensions of your projects, including timely customer billing and cash collection.
- Create, maintain, and drive progress against project plans — identifying deviations early, managing risk, and forecasting performance with confidence.
- Register, compile, submit, and negotiate extensions of time, variations, and contractual claims as they arise.
- Ensure full compliance with GE Vernova processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct structured project reviews to monitor cost, track progress, and manage issues before they escalate.
You are a project professional who thrives in complex, customer-facing environments — someone who is as comfortable managing commercial negotiations as you are coordinating a technical delivery team.
