Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the daily operations of our restaurant. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food preparation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong culinary background who is eager to help lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and managing staff.
- Supervise and train kitchen personnel to ensure efficient food production.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.
- Monitor food presentation and quality before serving to guests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and food safety practices.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff.
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations and coordinating food production.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences.
