Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling cracks, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project specifications and deliver tailored decorating solutions.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport supplies or reach job sites efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades.
- Ability to operate painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear interactions with clients and team members.
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation to access various job sites.
- Knowledge of different surface preparation techniques and finishing methods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
