We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our financial team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial insights, managing key accounting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. Duties
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payments.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero, soon to be D365 Business Central, to maintain precise financial records.
- Support financial management activities by developing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses that inform strategic planning.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Management Accountant or in a similar financial role within the financial services sector or related industries.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices, including accounts payable processes and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Experience mentoring or training team members in accounting procedures and software applications is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with financial management systems used for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
