We are seeking an Asset Intelligence & Information Lead (BIM) to lead the delivery of asset intelligence, asset information and information management activities across a client contract.
This is a newly created role within a NEC4 environment, focused on implementing ISO 19650 across the asset lifecycle and supporting a highly innovative programme within a construction-led context.
Job Description
We are looking for a driven and experienced professional to implement strategy, mature asset data into a fully realised BIM model, and establish effective processes where challenges currently exist.
The role is primarily home-based with travel to ISS and client sites, requiring strong leadership to influence change and deliver robust information management outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Asset Intelligence, Asset Information and Information Management activities across the client contract
- Implement and maintain Asset Information Requirements (AIRs) and Asset Information Models (AIMs)
- Lead asset verification, validation and asset data improvement initiatives
- Ensure asset information is accurate, complete, structured and fit for operational use
- Develop and maintain asset information standards, taxonomies, data structures and requirements
- Support implementation of ISO 19650-aligned information management frameworks and procedures
- Produce asset intelligence outputs, reporting and analysis to support decision-making
- Engage with stakeholders, operational teams and supply chain to gather and deliver information requirements
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Strong experience within BIM, particularly in construction environments
- Demonstrable experience implementing ISO 19650 and associated information management frameworks
- Background in Asset Intelligence, Information Management, BIM or Digital Delivery
- Experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, government or FM environments
- Experience working within operational estates, Asset Management, Facilities Management or NEC4 contract environments
- Ability to lead, influence and drive change in complex environments
- Likely background in CAD, Civils or Project Management
- Full UK driving licence required (travel involved)
