Window Fitter
Location: Huddersfield, Holmfirth & surrounding areas (West Yorkshire)
Employment Type: Self-Employed (CIS Scheme)
Rate: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

The Role:
Working on a wide range of residential and small commercial projects, you’ll be responsible for the fitting of high-quality windows, doors, and glazed units using timber, UPVC and Aluminum. You’ll work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all installations are completed to a high standard with attention to detail and care for the customer’s property.
You will also be required to complete some building and joinery works as our business has now evolved to be doing extensions, other building services, commercial and domestic renovations. Although we have a team to complete this work you may sometimes be asked to join and assist with these jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Installation of uPVC, timber, and/or aluminium windows and doors
– Measuring, fitting, sealing and finishing
– Liaising with the workshop and customers on-site
– Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
– Representing the business with professionalism and care
Other potential role
- Steel work
- 1st and 2nd fix joiner (roofs, architrave, skirtings etc).
- Leadwork
- Willing to pitch in assisting other trades when required
Requirements:
Proven experience in window fitting
Full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferably be registered under the CIS scheme
