Electrician's Mate / Electrical Improver – Domestic Rewire Experience Required
£140–£150 per day | Self-employed | Monday–Friday | Immediate Start
Manchester, Stockport, Trafford, Preston & surrounding areas (up to 1 hour travel)
We are an electrical subcontractor carrying out kitchen rewires and full house rewires for social housing across the North West.
Jobs are consistent, ongoing, and booked months in advance. This role is suited to someone looking for a long-term, steady workload with an organised team and a reliable schedule.
We are looking for an experienced Electrician's Mate / Electrical Improver to join our team.
The Role
Working alongside a qualified electrician, you will be involved in:
- Kitchen rewires
- Full house rewires
- First and second fix domestic installation work
- Running cables and general installation tasks
- Working in occupied social housing properties
- Keeping work areas safe, tidy, and organised
Requirements
- Domestic rewire experience is essential
- Experience working on domestic/residential electrical installations
- Confident assisting with full rewires and working in occupied properties
- Valid ECS card
- Own vehicle and full UK driving licence
- Own hand tools and basic power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to a high standard
