As a Security Supervisor, you will lead the duty shift team responsible for security operations, coordination, intelligence, and incident management. You will manage team workflow, allocate shift taskings and response positions, and ensure the highest standards of building operational effectiveness and customer experience. You will act as the primary operational decision‑maker and a key link in building operations, incident management, and business continuity, working closely with onsite stakeholders and reporting directly to the Security Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight of CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, access control, building management systems, and associated security technologies.
- Lead daily operations within the Security Control Room, or CCTV monitoring environment.
- Ensure accurate operation, maintenance, and updating of all logs, documentation, and information systems.
- Provide continuous situational awareness through monitoring, intelligence gathering, and proactive threat identification to team .
- Act as the primary Supervisor for Major Incident Response, ensuring structured escalation and coordination.
- Manage and direct incident response activities, ensuring timely reporting, communication, and resolution.
- Dispatch and coordinate security teams during incidents, ensuring clear instructions and operational clarity.
- Liaise with emergency services, internal stakeholders, and external partners during critical events.
- Deliver intelligence briefings, research tasks, and operational content to support decision-making.
- Provide real-time incident, event, and intelligence notifications to relevant Occupiers, Client , Security Manager.
- Ensure effective distribution and actioning of communications across electronic platforms, phone, and radio.
- Produce accurate incident reports, logs, and operational summaries.
- Supervise and support security officers, ensuring adherence to standards, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and operational assurance to staff during routine and emergency operations.
- Support business continuity activities for the Client and Security Manager.
- Ensure all operations comply with legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements.
- Participate in mandatory training, refresher courses, and continuous professional development.
- Uphold high standards of conduct, integrity, and professionalism within the control room environment.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (DS)
- Shift Pattern:7‑shift rolling roster consisting of mixed day and night shifts. Rotation: 4 days + 3 nights 4 days off, then 3 days + 4 nights 3 days off, repeating
- Valid CCTV Licence
- Previous experience in a Security Control Room, Managing team, CCTV Control Room, or similar monitoring environment.
- Strong incident management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to lead teams in high-pressure environments.
- Proficiency with CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and building management technologies.
- High level of integrity, situational awareness, and decision-making capability.

- Do you have experience in emergency response / management, CCTV control?
- Do you have supervisory or first line management experience?
- Do you have a valid front-line DS SIA /CCTV Licence?

- Do you have experience in an intelligence research, handling, and development environment.
- Do you have Duty management / Duty Supervisor experience in an Building operational or Control Room environment.
