Transport Manager required for busy Bulk Tipper Transport Business –
Watnall, NG16 1LA
· Must have fleet/routing experience preferably of bulk tippers but this is not essential.
· Ideally must possess a current Transport Manager CPC. However, Fernwood will consider a very experienced Transport Clerk who is looking to progress their career and obtain a Transport Manager CPC qualification. Fernwood will pay all training and exam fees for the correct candidate.
· Experience of FORS accreditation.
· Experience of TASCC accreditation.
· Experience of management of sub-contractors alongside own fleet and managing delivery volumes to match customer orders and requirements.
· Processing of daily routing sheets/wages/vehicle earnings.
· Managing and purchasing diesel stocks.
The role requires close liaison with the Accounts Department and Commercial Vehicle Workshop Manager/Managing Director.
Salary: £46,000 per annum commensurate on experience.
Plus, discretionary bonus scheme.
Holidays: 23 days plus bank holidays.
Hours: 07:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday inclusive plus out of hours contact with drivers on company mobile phone.
Location: Onsite at Watnall with onsite parking. No working from home.
