As a key member of the team, provide a primary advisory function in the delivery of quality management/improvement support to the Cancer Services Directorate alongside undertaking activity to support continuous improvement and patient safety initiatives.
To lead and manage quality assurance and improvement processes in Oncology ensuring compliance with NHS standards, regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines, providing cross cover to support these activities across the directorate.
The post holder has responsibility for contributing to the development, delivery and maintenance of the Directorates quality system to provide: Assurance of compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for IRR and IR(ME)R; Assurance of compliance with ISO9001:2015; Assurance of compliance with CEL30 (2012) (Revised Feb 2023).
Support CSM and wider team with governance of incidents via Datix, SAEs, complaints, FOIs, Risk Register.
