Job Description:
Aspire Create are a specialist joinery, project management and interior fit-out company based in North Down. We are currently seeking Workshop/Bench Joiners with experience of producing joinery for the retail, commercial and hospitality sectors.
This is a varied and exciting role that would suit an experienced Workshop/Bench Joiner that enjoys a diversity of projects that are mainly based in Northern Ireland.
Essential
- Bench Joinery Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Candidates must live in Northern Ireland or be able to commute to our workshop location on a daily basis
- All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
Additional Requirements (Please Read Before Applying):
Applicants must have proven, hands-on experience working as a workshop joiner within a manufacturing or joinery environment. This role is not suitable for entry-level candidates or individuals without relevant industry experience. Candidates must be competent in reading technical drawings and producing high-quality joinery to specification. Applicants should be currently based in Northern Ireland or able to reliably commute to our workshop location on a daily basis, and must have the right to work in the UK. Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the above criteria will be considered.
Please note: we are specifically seeking experienced workshop joiners, and applications from candidates without relevant joinery experience will not be progressed.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ability to produce high-end quality joinery for the retail, commercial and hospitality sectors
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, detail up cutting lists and machine materials
- Carry out assigned tasks in a timely and professional manner
- To maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe work environment
- To adhere to the companies health and safety policies
This is a permanent full time position with a competitive hourly rate tailored towards the successful candidate.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm - Friday 8am -1pm
