Job Summary
The property manager is responsible for ensuring clients' properties are correctly maintained.
The property manager will work with landlords, tenants and contractors from before the start of each tenancy to after the end of each tenancy, ensuring that properties are safe and kept to a good standard.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure properties are ready for tenants to move in - gas & electrical safety, maintenance & repairs completed, owner briefed on property condition.
Arrange & carry out regular property inspections to ensure properties are looked after, and track maintenance.
Arrange annual services, safety tests and similar.
Receive fault reports and maintenance requests.
Inform landlords of required works, get quotes, instruct contractors and track works through to completion.
Maintain relationships with contractors, recording & checking appropriate qualifications and insurances.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be confident with Microsoft Office.
Must have a valid UK driving license and use of a car.
Must be good at quickly building and maintaing relationships with people from all walks of life.
Must be organised and methodical.
Experience essential.
Leave
22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
