Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team at The White Horse in South Norfolk. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our kitchen operations by preparing fresh ingredients and assisting with meal preparation, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
- Support the team in meal assembly and plating.
- Ensure food safety standards are met during all food handling processes.
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Participate in daily kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with catering preparations for private functions as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and teamwork mentality.
