Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing our catering operations (KS Catering), ensuring high standards of food presentation, safety, and customer service. This position offers an excellent opportunity to refine skills within the hospitality industry and contribute to memorable dining experiences. The Catering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with food preparation, packing orders, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the catering environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet high quality standards
- Oversee team in setting up and clearing catering areas before and after events
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Supervise delivery duties, including loading, unloading and transporting supplies or equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas throughout shifts
- Manage stock replenishment and inventory checks
- Provide excellent guest services by responding promptly to customer needs and inquiries
- Follow phone etiquette when taking orders or handling client communications
- Collaborate effectively and manage team members to ensure smooth operation of catering services
Skills
- Previous experience in supervisory or management role in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Skilled in cooking, meal preparation, or culinary arts.
- Background in hotel or catering management is beneficial
- Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to provide excellent guest services and maintain professional etiquette
- Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Having your own car and being based local to East Kilbride is a big advantage

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
