Two vacancies have arisen for well organised, self-motivated, reliable and punctual full-time B3 FLT Operator’s to join our existing team at PD Ports within the PD Steel Services arm based at Groveport.
Location: Groveport.
Working Arrangements: 37.5 hours per week on rotating days & afters 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
The main things our FLT will be working on are:
· Ensuring the quality and quantity of receiving and despatching steel products for our customers prioritising Health & Safety whilst working in accordance with written procedures.
· The ability to work within deadlines to ensure compliance whilst ensuring accuracy of work.
· Excellent communication skills and teamwork are required.
· Use of handheld scanners to load & receive steel products ensuring accuracy and completing pre op checks daily.
We are seeking someone who:
· Is enthusiastic and has a flexible approach to the changes in the operational requirements of the role of FLT driver.
· Experience and understanding of steel handling.
· Is self-motivated and well organised.
· Is punctual and reliable.
