An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join one of the UK’s largest tile importers based in West Midlands with a secondary site in Warrington.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will range from picking orders, unloading deliveries, booking in deliveries, loading pallets onto transport vehicles and general maintenance of the warehouse, a full list of duties can be found below.
We are a small and dynamic team and may require you to help in areas of the business outside of your defined responsibilities from time to time.
The hours of work will be Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm based at our Head Office in Tividale.
The ideal candidate must have previous warehouse experience, preferably in distribution however this is not essential.
Forklift experience, with use of both Counter balance and Reach Truck forklifts is essential.
A Full UK driving licence would be preferred for use of Company vans.

Job Duties:
Pick Orders
Wrapping pallets, loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Checking and booking in deliveries
Stock checks
Move and stack materials
Monitoring and replenishing pick locations once stock becomes low
Loading customer orders
Covering overspill of deliveries
Organising and prioritising workload
Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
Merchandising Stock
Stock Control
Covering duties in busy periods
General housekeeping duties in the warehouse
