The leading producer of MDF Mouldings based in Romford seeks a confident and enthusiastic applicant to work with a friendly and supportive factory team . Producing Primed MDF Skirtings - Architrave and Windowboard supplying to the major timber and building merchant groups though out the UK . Working on the production line setting and operating the final priming line after all required training and mentoring whilst training . Main placement would be to operate the main infra red drying tunnel and assist in stacking / packing mouldings as they exit the drying system. Packing / banding of orders with assistance as the mouldings are produced in batch or order quantities . Assisting in all areas of the production and when busy assist in packing merchant orders for onward delivery . Lifting and a basic level of physical strength in this role will be an expected requirement.
Sweeping up and assisting the team in keeping the working areas free of packing materials and banding wire .
The successful applicant shall have multiple opportunities to develop their role within the manufacturing of our varied product lines with further training .
Hours :- Full Time Monday - Friday - 8:30 AM - 5 PM ( leave at 4.30 pm Fridays)
Pay :- £ 12.80 Per Hour ( Plus attendance bonus of £1.00 per hour based on completion of a 40 Hour week not lateness or sick days ) Contractual sick pay is not applicable. You may be entitled to statutory sick pay .
Pension Scheme :- Auto enrolment Peoples Pension scheme is in place with compulsory entry level being 4% of salary and met by the company with a matching 4 % applicable after a three month trial period.
Holiday Entitlement :- 15 Days per annum - Plus all UK Bank Holidays - Plus a further 5 Days covering Christmas . Successful applicant may then take the 15 days by agreement with the management .
