Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming advice tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Manage your own schedule and client bookings efficiently to maximize service delivery.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening attentively, communicating clearly, and ensuring clients leave satisfied.
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or grooming products to enhance client experience and business growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Mentor junior team members or apprentices when applicable, sharing your expertise to foster their growth.
- Handle front desk responsibilities by greeting clients warmly, managing appointments, and processing payments seamlessly.
- Chair rental or commission base available
Experience
- Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of haircutting and grooming skills.
- Knowledge of store management principles is a plus for those interested in expanding their business operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs.
- Experience in customer service roles that emphasize positive interactions and client retention.
- Familiarity with eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for motivated candidates.
- Ability to upsell products or services confidently while maintaining a positive client relationship.
- Prior mentoring or teaching experience can be advantageous for supporting team development.
