At JB sports we’re dedicated to providing the best quality PE lessons to children 3-11 years old. We work in pre-schools and primary schools throughout London and Essex as well as optional work at holiday camps during half terms and the summer holidays!
Ideal candidates will be fun, energetic and professional coaches, with experience working in schools with both Key Stage 1 and 2 children. As well as being a sports coach your personality will need to be some sort of an ‘entertainer’ to keep the lessons fun and the children wanting to be taught by you!

Qualifications
-Be a Minimum Level 1 in a recognised NGB sport.
-First Aid trained (can be organised)
-Safeguarding qualified (can be organised)
-Working in a primary school environment, minimum 1 year.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To prepare and implement well-structured and progressive coaching programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable coaching experience centred on the needs of children.
- To plan, provide and supervise activities that are appropriate, stimulating, and challenging.
-To deliver coaching in a range of physical activities alongside teachers within the school’s PE curriculum.
-Develop knowledge and understanding of the PE Curriculum.
-Demonstrate and help children to understand the importance of keeping fit.
-Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are always adhered to.
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
-Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs
-Have taught sports such as football, tennis, basketball, gymnastics, dodgeball.
-Behavior Management.
Essential
- Full UK Driving License and vehicle.
- Valid DBS
- Minimum one reference from coaching background.
-Have experience teaching different sports to children
