Supply Chain / Operations Coordinator - 6 month temporary contract with possibility of extension

Balance Me is a British, privately owned, award-winning and fast-growing natural skincare brand. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Supply Chain/Operations Coordinator to support the smooth running of our day-to-day supply chain operations.
The Role
You'll play a key support role across our supply chain, helping to keep stock, orders, and deliveries running smoothly. Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you'll help coordinate purchase orders, monitor stock levels, support wholesale order processing, and act as a day-to-day point of contact with our suppliers and warehouse on operational queries.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain/operations career to gain broad, hands-on experience within a small, supportive, and entrepreneurial team, with genuine scope to grow as the business grows.
What We're Looking For

1–3 years' experience in a supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or operations support role

Comfortable working with Excel; experience with an ERP system (e.g. Unleashed) is a plus but not essential

Well organised, with a good eye for detail and a methodical approach

A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Good communication skills and comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams

Interest in Beauty/FMCG is a bonus but not required
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Stock Support

Help maintain accurate stock records and support demand forecasting activities

Assist with raising and tracking production purchase orders

Support the receipting and checking-in of stock deliveries

Help monitor and report on stock levels, flagging any out-of-stock or overstock risks
Order & Supplier Coordination

Support processing of wholesale orders and day-to-day order queries

Act as a first point of contact for routine supplier and warehouse queries, escalating more complex issues to the Supply Chain Manager

Help track delivery dates and order status, keeping the wider team updated
General Support

Assist with basic performance reporting using Unleashed and Excel

Support the Supply Chain Manager and wider team with ad hoc projects as the business grows

Help ensure smooth communication across teams regarding stock and delivery updates
