PLMD Group Ltd is a UK-based property and investment group with operations across investment properties, estates, development projects, construction coordination, pre-acquisition due diligence, project funding, HR, IT services and group-level operational management.
We are seeking a highly capable Head of Operations to manage, coordinate and improve the day-to-day operational performance of the group. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can bring structure, discipline, reporting, accountability and execution across multiple entities, projects and service functions.
Role Summary
The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing group-wide operational activities, ensuring smooth coordination between property, estate management, construction, due diligence, HR, IT, finance, vendors and senior management.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operations management, real estate/property operations, process improvement, stakeholder coordination, reporting, compliance follow-up and team leadership. Experience working with UK-based businesses, property companies or remote international teams will be highly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesGroup Operations Management
Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations across PLMD Group entities, ensuring activities are planned, tracked and completed on time.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures, reporting formats, approval workflows and operational controls.
Create visibility across ongoing projects, property activities, maintenance issues, vendor tasks, compliance actions and management priorities.
Act as the central coordination point between senior management, internal teams, external consultants, contractors and service providers.
Property, Estate and Project Coordination
Oversee operational support for investment properties, estate management activities, development projects and construction-related coordination.
Track property-related tasks including maintenance, contractor follow-ups, tenant/service issues, inspections, documentation and operational risk points.
Coordinate with estate management, construction, due diligence, finance and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
Maintain dashboards for project status, property performance, pending actions, risks and deadlines.
Process, Systems and Reporting
Design and improve operational reporting systems, MIS dashboards and performance trackers.
Ensure timely reporting to directors/senior management on operational progress, issues, risks and required decisions.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and control gaps, then implement practical improvements.
Support implementation of digital tools, document controls and workflow systems.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
Manage coordination with contractors, agents, consultants, property managers, legal advisers, finance teams, HR, IT and other external stakeholders.
Monitor vendor performance, timelines, documentation, cost follow-up and service quality.
Escalate unresolved issues promptly with clear recommendations.
Compliance and Governance Support
Ensure operational tasks are aligned with internal policies, approval requirements and documentation standards.
Support compliance tracking for property, company, HR, vendor, insurance, lease and statutory documentation where applicable.
Maintain accurate records, trackers and audit-ready documentation.
Leadership and Accountability
Lead operational meetings, action reviews and follow-up sessions.
Build a culture of ownership, responsiveness, discipline and measurable execution.
Support recruitment, training and performance management of operations team members where required.
Required Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in operations management, general management, property operations, real estate operations, project coordination or business administration.
Strong experience managing multiple workflows, teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
Excellent organisational, reporting and follow-up skills.
Strong understanding of property, estates, construction coordination or facilities management is preferred.
Experience with UK property operations, UK clients, or international business coordination is highly desirable.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Advanced MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint and dashboard/reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, solve problems and manage priorities across time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, postgraduate qualification, engineering, real estate, construction management, business administration or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in real estate, property management, construction, investment property, facilities management, family office, asset management or group company operations.
Experience using project management tools, CRM systems, property management systems or workflow platforms.
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
