Based in Dumfries, Franklin Steel Ltd are a leading distributor of Steel, industrial supplies and industrial gases throughout South West Scotland and the Borders region.
We are looking to recruit a hard working, reliable and experienced individual to supervise a busy distribution and production warehouse.
The ideal person must have supervisory experience and have a hands on and flexible approach, be capable of supervising a small warehouse team in their daily duties of production control, deliveries and stock control, someone with an engineering or related industry background would be an advantage.
Experience with forklifts, bandsaws ,overhead cranes. An HGV licence would be an advantage but not essential.
Heavy lifting is involved so please bear this in mind when applying.
Normal hours of work;
Monday to Frday 7.30 am to 5.00 pm
Overtime may be required.
Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience.
