We're looking for kind, enthusiastic and reliable Support Workers to join our growing team in Shrewsbury, supporting autistic adults and people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and acquired brain injuries within supported living and the local community.

Pay & Hours
- £12.90 per hour
- Full-time, part-time and bank contracts available
- Early, late and optional sleep-in shifts
- Alternate weekends required for contracted roles
- Enhanced Bank Holiday rates
- Overtime opportunities available
Location: Shrewsbury – Supported Living & Community
What You'll Be Doing
No two days are ever the same.
One day you might be supporting someone to develop life skills at home, and the next you could be helping them access their local community, attend appointments, pursue hobbies or achieve personal goals.
Your role may include:
- Supporting people with everyday living, including cooking, shopping and maintaining their home
- Encouraging independence, confidence and decision-making
- Helping people build friendships, access their community and enjoy meaningful activities
- Supporting people to attend appointments, education or work opportunities
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Promoting health, wellbeing and emotional resilience
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver person-centred support
- Using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches to understand people's needs and help them thrive
Most importantly, you'll be supporting people to live the life they choose—not simply doing things for them, but helping them achieve things for themselves.

Experience in support work or care is welcomed, but we also encourage applications from people with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, education, childcare, customer service, the emergency services or anyone with transferable people skills and the right values.

Experience
Experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
