Active Leicester is looking for cleaners to work across our centres on a part time basis. This role is essential in maintaining our sites cleanliness and maintaining health & safety across all of our sites.
You’ll assist with the day to day running of the facility, providing the highest standard of customer service whilst ensuring the health and safety of customers. You will be responsible in ensuring that all of our leisure sites remain clean, tidy and at the highest level.

14 Hours Per Week, Permanent – Evington Leisure centre

Shift Pattern
You will be required to work on a shift pattern which will include early, evenings and weekends. Our leisure centres are typically open 6am - 10pm. You will be required to be flexible across these times.
What you’ll be doing
Working on site you’ll carry out the cleaners role working early mornings, evenings and on the occasional weekend. You’ll liaise with our site supervisors who will issue you our cleaning matrixes for you to follow. Tasks such as deep cleaning changing rooms, poolside areas, gym areas, reception areas, sauna areas and keeping on top of the day-to-day cleanliness will be your main priority. In addition, you’ll be responsible for maintaining stock levels and informing management of items that need to be ordered.
What you’ll need
As a person, you’ll take pride in completing tasks to an excellent level and has a reasonable level of cleaning experience this could be within a private sector or public sector. With knowledge of health and safety regulations you'll be able to use and maintain cleaning equipment including vacuums. In addition, you’ll able to work well independently as well as successfully within a team, being a great team player who is able to be flexible and get stuck in.
