Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces, trash disposal, and restocking of supplies to ensure hygiene standards are upheld
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are serviced efficiently and thoroughly
- Use specialized equipment for deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or floor polishing when required
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Maintain accurate logs of completed tasks and supplies used throughout each shift
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols necessary for effective sanitation
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
