We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and ambitious Registered Manager to join us at the beginning of our journey. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in establishing and growing a new care service, leading the CQC registration process, and helping shape the future of the organisation.
The Opportunity
As our Registered Manager, you will work closely with the Directors to:
* Lead the service through CQC registration.
* Develop and implement operational systems and policies.
* Build a high-performing care team.
* Establish a culture of quality, compassion, and professionalism.
* Support business growth while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
This role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, building services from the ground up, and making a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the CQC registration process.
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the domiciliary care service.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and support care staff.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
* Conduct assessments, care plan reviews, audits, and quality monitoring.
* Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents, and risk assessments.
* Develop positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.
* Drive continuous improvement and maintain outstanding standards of care.
Essential Requirements
* Experience within domiciliary care or adult social care management.
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
* Leadership and staff management experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
* Previous Registered Manager experience.
* Experience with CQC registration of a new service.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or working towards).
* Experience developing new care services.
