About Us:
Statech UK Ltd are a well-established predominately stainless steel manufacturing specialist based in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire. We supply bespoke, in house designed and manufactured equipment to the food industry as well as refurbishment of existing equipment for our clients and supporting their needs.
We are going through a period of controlled growth at present and as a result are seeking skilled welder fabricators to join our team on a full-time contract. Are you hardworking, reliable and passionate about what you do? Are you happy to get your hands dirty and have great attention to detail? Then this might be the role for you.
The Role:
Stainless steel, Mild steel and Aluminium fabrications and process pipe work, TIG/MIG welding.
- Reading, interpreting and understanding technical drawings
- Working as part of a team and under own initiative
- Working for some of the UK’s best-known brands
- Use of workshop machinery, brake press, guillotines, bandsaws etc.
- Following instruction and workshop Health and Safety rules at all times
- Work can be both workshop based or on customer sites
- 40 hours per week and overtime/weekend work available
- Immediate start
- Driving license required
- Leading from the front, coaching/teaching our apprentices
Skills
- Experience in TIG welding (stainless and mild steel).
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Experience in handling all meterials; pipe, sheet, welded, screwed, etc.
- Excellent communication skills required
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Driving licence is required for this role.
- Attention to detail is a must, ability to produce high quality fabrications.
- Punctual and Reliable
- Good Housekeeping and general health and safety awareness.
