Fire & Security Alarm Engineer

UK Security & Fire Ltd are a well-established and growing fire & security company based in Wolverhampton delivering high-quality installation, maintenance, and support services to a wide range of commercial and residential clients. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Alarm Engineer to join our team.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems across various client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, and fault-finding of:
- Fire alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
- Intruder alarms
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
- Ensuring all work complies with current UK standards and regulations
- Completing job reports and documentation accurately
- Providing excellent customer service on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire and security systems (minimum [X] years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. BS5839, BS7671)
- Experience with leading system brands (e.g. Gent, Advanced, Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton)
- Full UK Manual driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- FIA qualifications or equivalent
- ECS/CSCS card
- Experience working in residential and commercial environments
