Overview
A dynamic, positive & efficient team player is required to join the Woody's Restaurant team, five days per week, including one day at the weekend. The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach to overseeing the daily running of the restaurant operation and assist the manager, as part of the Woody's management team. Excellent customer service skills and previous supervisory/management experience in a catering environment are essential.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsibility for till operations
- Overseeing daily duties and delegating appropriately across the team
- Staff training and development
- Customer care
- Maintaining and improving our high standards
- Overseeing front of house and kitchen operations
- Serving customers, making coffees/hot drinks, serving food, clearing tables, general cleaning duties
- Team performance management
- Proactively managing health and safety across the department
- Assisting the Restaurant Manager in administrational duties
- Ensuring high standards of health and hygiene are maintained
- Recruitment
- Stock control
- Liaising with senior management
- Keyholding duties
Qualifications and Skills
- Level 2 or above food hygiene qualification desirable
- Good English and Maths skills
- Experience in a catering environment
- Experience in a supervisory role or above
- Computer literate
- Professional demeanour
