At Hereford Contract Canning, we're a fast-growing and ambitious contract canning business. Due to continued investment, business growth and the addition of new customers, we're expanding our Manufacturing Department and are looking for Multi-Skilled Packaging Operatives to join our new shift team.

Shift Pattern
You'll work a Panama Continental Shift Pattern, consisting of 12-hour rotating day and night shifts:
- 06:00 – 18:00
- 18:00 – 06:00
What You'll Be Doing
As a Packaging Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring our production lines operate safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a range of packaging machinery and production equipment.
- Completing product and can-size changeovers in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Carrying out Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes on tanks and product pipework.
- Performing routine operational maintenance and supporting equipment reliability.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet food safety and customer specifications.
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and workplace safety.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing department.
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks to move raw materials and finished goods where required.

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
