About Foundations
Foundations Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy is an established multidisciplinary service supporting children, young people and families.
We provide compassionate, high-quality and neuro-affirming assessment and therapeutic services, bringing together professionals from psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and other specialist disciplines.
We are looking for an experienced Assessment Clinician to join our friendly multidisciplinary team in Tonbridge.
The Role
You will play an important role within our neurodevelopmental assessment service, working collaboratively with other clinicians to provide thoughtful, child-centred assessments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Autism assessment clinics, including ADOS assessments
- Completing initial psychology assessments and pre-assessment consultations
- Contributing to multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental assessments
- Report writing and clinical administration
- Participating in MDT discussions and formulation
- Communicating sensitively with children, young people and their families throughout the assessment journey
- Working collaboratively with the wider Foundations team
We are particularly looking for someone who can contribute to a dedicated Autism assessment clinic, ideally on Fridays.
About You
We would love to hear from clinicians who:
- Are a registered Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist (SALT), Occupational Therapist or other appropriately qualified clinician
- Are ADOS trained
- Have experience in neurodevelopmental assessment
- Have experience working with children and young people
- Have excellent clinical report-writing skills
- Communicate with warmth, clarity and professionalism
- Are confident working independently while also enjoying collaborative MDT working
- Share our neuro-affirming, strengths-based and family-centred approach
