Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy bar. This will be a pre opening Role to start and will involved working with the owner to build a dynamic team. It is part of a group that will support and guide when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising team members, overseeing food and drink preparation, and ensuring the smooth running of the bar environment. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team to deliver outstanding service and hospitality.
- Manage daily operations including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
- Train new staff members in service procedures, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue.
- Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and hospitality.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a Bar, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Experience in serving beverages and managing bar operations is essential; barista experience is a plus.
- Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Previous experience in Bar or hotel settings will be advantageous.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
