Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in a care home or home care setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to residents’ needs, and demonstrate a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a warm and respectful environment
- Support residents with medication administration and health monitoring as required
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and documentation protocols
- Drive residents to appointments, outings, or activities in a safe and responsible manner
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the care environment at all times
- This role include housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence with experience in driving residents or service users safely
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care services is preferred
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills, empathetic nature, and patience when working with vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A caring attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
