Coopers Marquees & Y F Events are trusted names in marquee hire and event furniture hire business. We are known for providing high-quality structures and furnishings for corporate events, weddings and parties. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking operative to work in our yard maitaining equipment and to deliver furniture to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, loading, and delivering furniture and equipment to event sites
- Unloading and setting up furniture in accordance with event plans
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company standards
- Inspecting, cleaning, and carrying out minor repairs on furniture and equipment
- Assisting with stock checks, organisation, and general warehouse and yard duties across our furniture and marquee divisions
- Maintaining vehicles cleanliness and equipment in good working order
- Working as part of a team to meet delivery schedules and uphold company standards
What We’re Looking For
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Class 2 licence and CPC are desirable
- Good level of physical fitness (the role involves manual handling)
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work
- Attention to detail, with a proactive attitude towards maintenance and cleanliness
- Experience in delivery, removals, or event setup is an advantage, but full training will be provided
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Woodworking/joinery skills beneficial
- Ability to work independently under your own initivative
