we are looking for 2 additional upholsterers with various skill levels to join Our family friendly team.
Pay depending on Experience
one position to carry out basic upholstery skills - Upholstering Office Seats, Wrap over Pads and pull on back covers
More experienced upholsterer to carry out - upholstering sofas, tub chairs, bench seating and dining chairs
- Measure and cut foam padding to fit furniture pieces
- Install springs, webbing, and other support systems in furniture frames
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an upholsterer or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and sewing machines
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair furniture frames
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship
- Excellent Rates of pay depending upon experience
- Hours of Work can be flexible but generally Monday to Thurs 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 2.30pm
