Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Enforce food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices at all times
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to enhance their culinary skills and teamwork
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary leadership role with supervising responsibilities
- Extensive kitchen experience with a strong background in food production and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead a diverse group of staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant health regulations
- Strong culinary expertise with a passion for hospitality and serving guests
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus
